Advanced PowerFlex Series VFD Training System

Train students and workers on real, energized electrical circuits using a Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) to control a three-phase motor. Also known as AFD, VSD, AC drive, microdrive, or inverter drive, VFD technology regulates motor speed for HVAC fans, pumps, and machine drives to match system demand and improve efficiency.

This system features the Allen-Bradley PowerFlex 5 Series VFD and supports electrical safety training, measurement, and fault-finding on authentic field I/O.
